I have been at Goodwood all week and it would be wrong to go in for lengthy spirts prognostications without sitting down and doing the research. As you know, I favour FULHAM for the Championship and regard them as value at around 9.1 each-way, while the match bet offered by Wilsons with West Ham 5/4 to finish above Leicester looks outstanding value but you may have to shop around or open an account. I can’t believe the 5/4 will have held up, however.
There has been precious little transfer activity at Southampton as the Virgil Van Dijk saga drags on. Frankly, I fear for them because I cannot see where the goals, which dried up altogether at the end of last term, will come from. Also, the rearranging of fixtures, especially involving West Ham, has meant the Saints will end with FOUR away games on the trot. For sure, they will not want to looking over their shoulder.
This weekend I think SHEFFIELD WEDNESADY can make a bright start at Preston and some 13’8 is available. They rather messed up the play-offs, as did Fulham, but look a very good side and the home team certainly could not afford to lose a very good manager.
