Snow Falcon is worth another chance…

April 8th, 2017 | Ian Carnaby's Racing News

Last week was profitable for us with Tupi easily winning the Cammidge Trophy at 7/1 and Oh This Is Us finishing second in the Lincoln, having been backed down to 7/2 favourite. He had to be backed earlier on, of course.

Grand National day will be quiet for me. If he has not deteriorated, SAINT ARE can go close in the big race having finished second in it two years ago. He has a handy weight, will like the drying ground and course knowledge is a big plus. On the other hand he is 11 now and cannot be getting any better. Try to find a bookmaker paying each-way terms on the first six.

I fancied SNOW FALCON for the Stayers’ Hurdle at Cheltenham and thought he went very well for much of the race before dropping away tamely. Maybe he just needed the outing and I shall stay with him in the three-miler on Saturday. He will appreciate the easier course and has not been too busy this season.

I am unlikely to be involved anywhere else but if anything comes to light on the Flat I shall let callers to the line know at 11am.
