Sellingallthetime may be the value

September 22nd, 2017 | Ian Carnaby's Racing News

The loss of the Ayr Western Meeting has seriously curtailed betting opportunities for this weekend although, to be frank, multi-runner sprint handicaps on that sort of ground might well have turned into a bookmakers’ benefit.
I wish it were possible to ‘synchronise’ the various services because it’s been a memorable week on the telephone line, with the opening CSF at Brighton on Monday netting a profit off just under 400 units. Still, there is nothing we can do about that and I wouldn’t even have known the declarations when penning this piece last week.

I am waiting for Arc weekend now and there are a only a couple of horses to mention for this Saturday. I thought that LANSKY ran on very well in the Acomb at York, especially as it was only his second public outing. He can improve again and trouble the best in the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury.

Newmarket looks very hard to me but at Catterick, in the valuable mile and a half handicap at 4/45, a few of them are out of the handicap proper and SELLINGALLTHETIME, for whom Luke Morris was an early booking, may have just enough going for him to account for Je Suis Charlie. The latter won a weak affair over course and distance last time and rates a big danger.
