Bournemouth and West Ham favoured

Good old Albert Adomah. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bet on a team to win with so-and-so the first scorer (and quite rightly, because the value is non-existent) but it would have worked when Aston Villa beat Nottingham Forest last week. Just as well they did, because the other two selections did not improve the bank balance.

Bournemouth have made a poor start to the season but there have been some tough fixtures. They played well against Manchester City and were leading at Everton last week before conceding twice. They can take the points against Leicester, who are very hard to predict this season but could not afford to lose Danny Drinkwater. There will not be much in it but I think this is the sort of game where home advantage can make the difference.

West Ham are also down near the bottom but there are clear signs of improvement and holding West Brom away was no mean effort. Swansea can make things tricky on theor travels, as the Tottenham 0-0 tells us, but they do not score many and that makes things relatively straightforward for the home team. I think they will be under pressure early here and West Ham are capable of winning well if making the pressure count.

BOURNEMOUTH 20 units at 7/4 to beat Leicester
WSET HAM 30 units at 10/11 to beat Swansea
10 units the win double
