The start of our Flat season is here and our opening Weekend Bulletin features the Dubai Duty Free Spring Trials at Newbury, while we also have quality Jumps action taking place at Ayr for their Scottish National two-day fixture. “It’s a packed weekend of action and following my each-way return with the Spring Double I will again be going for a double in the Scottish Grand National at Ayr and the Spring Cup at Newbury. I also have news for a horse that has been laid out for a supporting race at Ayr and an unexposed three-year-old at Newbury.”
Jodie adds:
“The cards at Ayr look tricky across the two days, but I’m keen on a couple of double‑figure contenders in Friday’s handicap hurdles. On Saturday I’ll share my thoughts on the Scottish National, though I’ll be making a strong case for my main fancy in the bumper. I’ve also got an interesting unexposed type lined up at Bangor.”
