On Thursday Diamond Necklace will be odds-on to beat See The Fire and Friendly Soul while the highlight on the first day will be the return of Scandinavia, who will be trying to confirm his Gold Cup superiority over Trawlerman and Rahiebb, with Lazy Griff joining them from the north.
I already have a strongly-fancied two-year-old for one of the nurseries and a couple of handicappers who, draw permitting, have been saved specifically for this meeting.
