Time moves on, and in order to embrace the changing face of the Cheltenham Festival, with the dominance of Willie Mullins and a number of short-priced favourites, we are delighted to launch the Cheltenham Festival Spotlight Guide.
Unlike the Bulletin Book, which previewed every race at the meeting, the Spotlight Guide focuses specifically on the five horses that each of the four members of my team most fancy, graded from ***** to *, with their reasons for doing so.
The Spotlight Guide will be available to download on Monday 11th March, the eve of the first day, thereby allowing our team to factor in the up-to-date going and latest information and in time to take advantage of any early prices.
The team consists of Ronan Groome, with his news from Ireland, Jodie Standing, with her specialist knowledge of the staying chasers and Ian Carnaby. I will be focusing as usual on unearthing a plot or two in the handicaps.
The writers will draw on personal observations and, if possible, information from trainers and connections.
We believe this new service will offer some original insights to guide the reader through what remains the embodiment of jump racing at its best.
