Description

Marten writes:

“This is the time of the season – with most people focused on Cheltenham – that gems can be found away from the main action at the lower profile meetings. With this in mind I have news over the next few days for two handicap debutants on the AW, a maiden on the AW on Saturday evening, an ex-French import with a big reputation expected to make her debut next week and a newcomer with Cheltenham aspirations over hurdles in Ireland.”

What is included?

Here is a brief appraisal of what you get:

Sleeper Section: Horses that Marten has been waiting for, with a level stake profit of 101 points and a return on investment of 55% since the resumption of this service. Recent winners from very few selections include Tregony (four times), Tashkhan, Valparaiso, Highland Rocker and last season Sehayli (three times), Bullion Boss and Front View. Marten waited over a year for Sehayli, who was backed by some clients at 80/1 two days before the race.

Under The Radar: Marten pinpoints horses that are being cannily handled with a view to landing a touch.

Marten’s Look Ahead: Marten looks ahead to the next few days, with a level stake profit of 79 points since the resumption of this service. Recent winners from very few selections include Sonny Liston 18/1, Reversion 16/1, Atrium 16/1, Potterman 12/1, Gifted Gold 12/1, Lindwall 8/1 (from 25/1) and last season Tommy Rock 22/1, Native River 13/2 etc.

Jodie’s Jottings: Jodie Standing, our jumps and point-to-point specialist, has established a huge following since joining the team. She has provided clients with a high proportion of winners, with a level stake profit of 168 points and a return on investment of 16%. We are now fast approaching her time of year.

Premier Update: Marten updates news, information and running plans for the Premier List horses that were included in his Dark Horses Guide and National Hunt Guide.

Ian Carnaby: Widely experienced and well-respected observer Ian Carnaby passes on his reflections every week, focusing on sprint handicaps and low-grade racing.

Also frequent articles from Dan Briden, author of the Two-Year-Old Guide, and Irish expert Ronan Groome.
